I asked a new friend, of whom I've never met, what to put on my blog. The advise I got was to always encourage people, Mormon and non-Mormon, to seek the truth. This new found friend came about from a soured gathering of those who desired to know the truth about Mormonism. The the initial intent of the group was a support group for former Mormons . What ended up as a bitter parting of ways, gave birth to a relationship via surrogate.
In the dense fog that had filtered into the minds of those at the dinner of truth seekers, came the adversary that sought out to confound and confuse all those there. The very few who did not let the cloud of deceit penetrate their minds, became acutely aware of the danger lurking about. The one who took heed of the invisible red flags of warning, left after the third flag waved viciously in full view. Several kind words were exchanged between us, and a new hope of a like-minded kinship had been conceived. (I stayed because I needed my desert dish back.)
This new precious relationship was founded on a single desire. The need for truth. Truth opens many doors that leads to endless possibilities. The truth is as delicate as a new babe in its mothers arms. I take care of it, and it, in turn, takes care of me. Now I have a new friend, and the surrogate, is also a part of that new friendship.
Mormonism took away so much of my life, and now the truth is progressively bringing it back. I ask all who are seeking truth to press ahead and search, dig, wonder, ask, and above all else, don't stop. Death is the only thing that can stop you. Your own self determination and hunger can fuel you ahead. I encourage you to always seek for the truth. But, please, don't take someone else's word for truth. Find out for yourself.
