Boy Scouts Under attack Again Your emails Harold Camping Strikes out..again A Note From Ed Dear friends, I am sitting at my desk, looking at all the radio equipment that has been installed for me to use to do my new radio program. It sure is confusing. I guess I will learn to push all the buttons and dials and talk into this giant mike at the same time. It is going to take some practice.By next week, I will be putting together my first weekly, one hour program. I will let you know all the details as soon as it is a "GO." Pray for me. I am 30 years behind the technology. Nothing resembles the equipment my Associate Director, the late Jim Witham and I used when we did five years of daily radio throughout the Zion Curtain Country....way back then... Our very special thanks to all of you who participated in the raising of the funds needed. You came through in a big way and are full partners with us in this new mission outreach that will touch hundreds of thousands of people. Several major events have popped up this last week. One was a major public pronouncement By Joel Osteen, pastor of the 40,000 member Lakewood Church of Houston Texas. Pastor Osteen firmly declared to the world that Mormonism is Christian. Check out my open letter to this man. I have been on a number national radio programs over the last few weeks and we have been buried I responses. That's a good thing. After one program, we had almost 700 emails within the hour. I spent long hours in responding. In the last month, this email newsletter list has grown by over 2,500 new names. We prayerfully ask you to send in a gift to the ministry today. We are still about $1,000 short of our Radio project goal and need this within the next week to kick off our program with 'gusto.' We are also running behind in our normal monthly expenses. Well. To be more accurate, the expenses are there. Just not the money to meet them all. Please, even small gifts from many make a huge difference. Your brother in Christ, Ed Decker Your emails I love your emails. I take them seriously. I read them all. I answer most of them personally. Sometimes I forward them to someone with a special expertise. If you email me, expect that you will receive an answer. Sometimes that may take a while when I have hundreds of new emails in my inbox when I open my email account. Please be patient. However, I will not open any emails that do not have a title, or if there is no content except a web address or if it contains nothing but a file or the file and one of many statements like: Open this special file! We are continually spammed and by people who do not like our message. If they are not spamming us, they are trying to hack our website. We have so many security walls in place now that it takes me 15 minutes to log in and it's my site. That brings up another issue. We no longer can be reached by phone. It is email or letter only now. Mormon bloggers have taken great delight in publishing our office numbers and inviting all their friends to call in and harass us. We don't have time for those kinds of games. Enough said. Dear Pastor Joel Osteen, Shame on You! This is an open letter to Joel Osteen after he announced to the world this week that the Mormon Church is Christian and Mitt Romney is a born again Christian. The LDS Church is already using it as evidence of its legitimate place in the true Christian body. After all, one blogger said, it must be true. This is from the mouth of the Christian pastor of America's largest church. Please pass it on to your lists, use it in any way you feel necessary to stop this nonsense. Among the key topics I have been discussing on radio this last month has been the general acceptance by the Christian, conservative 'right' that even if Mormonism is a 'bit off center', Mitt Romney is still a born again Christian. They point to his use of words, like Jesus, my salvation, et al and never look past the words to see that his definitions of these words are far removed from the Christian definitions. Read It here Boy Scouts Under attack Again First it was the Mormons, who basically took over the Boy Scouts when they made it part of their Aaronic [youth] priesthood program and every LDS Ward had its own troop. Then the homosexual invasion came along and all but destroyed it. After that, the atheists took their turn at attacking and trying to dismantle its core belief in God and now watch out. Here come the Muslim invaders and the radical, anti-Christian, anti-American Muslim Brotherhood. Boy Scouts infiltrated by Muslim Brotherhood? October 8, 2011 Patriot Update website The Boy Scouts of America maintains scouting partnerships with Islamic groups closely tied to the Muslim Brotherhood, WND has learned. The Boy Scouts of America welcomes major religions, including Islam. It has incorporated under its banner a group called the National Islamic Committee on Scouting, or NICS, which provides Muslim scouts an opportunity to earn badges or emblems by participating in religious activities. The NICS scouting emblems include an "Allahu Akbar" emblem, which means "Allah is greatest" in Arabic. And Finally..... I just had to add this.... Harold Camping misses it ........one more time..
