For Example-Part Two

"That the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are three separate beings, united to such a degree that they are one in purpose and action. (Luke 3:21, John 17:1-26, Acts 7:55-56, Hebrews 1:3). When Christ prayed, he was not praying to himself, but to the Father (Matthew 26:42, John 17:1-26). When he was baptized-and when transfigured on the mount-he was not playing ventriloquist when a voice from heaven testified, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I an well pleased." (Matthew 3:17) And when he was crucified, he did not ascend to himself, but to hes Father, who is also our Heavenly Father. (John 20:17)

The leaders of the early Christian church had to deal with the nature of God, or "One God who is three Persons--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit," in order to explain it to their congregations and all those around them. The word "persons" when applied to God can be misleading and misunderstood. It can cause people to think that God exists as three separate people or persons. This is not so. There is only one God, not two (bi-theism) or more (poly-theism). The Father is omnipresent, the Son is omnipresent, and the Holy Spirit is omnipresent, they can in no way be three separate Gods. Here are a few scriptures that say there is only one God (Matthew 28:19, Mark 10:8, 1 Corinthians 8:4-6; 12:4-6, Isaiah 44:6, Deuteronomy 5:7; 6:4).

The Holy Trinity explained. God is a spirit, and so we should not think of Him in conventional terms. (John 4:24) That is God does not have internal organs as we do. We know that the man Jesus was previously the Word of God. (John 1:1,14, Genesis 1:3, 6, 9, 11, 14, 20, 22, 24, 25, 28, 29 see also 3:8, 10, Hebrew 1:2, 11:3) If Jesus is the word, then why can't the Father be the Mind of God. This would mean that the father being the mind of God, would be incomplete without the Word of God, giving that mind a voice. In this respect, the Mind is greater then the Voice. (John 14:28) The Holy spirit must then be The body of God. Without this body, God could not act. (Genesis 1:2 ) So God is made up of three parts. The Mind, The Word, and The Body. The Mind of God, speaks through the Word, and acts through the Body. All three parts make up the one God, and are inseparable. The Mind sent the Word, just as our minds send out words to communicate. In this relation, the Mind became the Father, and the Word became the Son. The Son was sent to bring us grace and truth. (John 1:14,17) And Salvation ( Hebrews 2:9) Its not hard to understand when you realize that God is made up of a Mind, a Voice and a Body. Its not complicated at all. So God is the orchestrator of our salvation. The Father sends the Son, and The Holy spirit makes known the Son to the elect of God. (John 14:26) The Father is the greater, for what is the mouth and the body without the mind. The Mind controls both the voice and the Body. (John 15:26) As with the Word and the Body, we two should obey the Mind of God. (Romans 15:6, Matthew 6:9-10) The Word and The Body or spirit, honours the Father as such, that He is the Mind. Only through the Word can we understand this Great Mind. (1 Corinthians 2:16) We can only understand the mind of God through His voice, and that is the Fathers will shown to us through Jesus Christ. (John 7:29, 12:44-45 ) We as Christ followers speak the will of the Father, continuing our saviours work. (John 13:20, 14:24, 17:18,21,25, 20:21) And the holy spirit is God working with us. (John 20:22, 1 Corinthians 12 :13) The mind cannot speak without the voice or act without a Body. So God can only be complete with the three making the Whole. Our Mind, our voice and our body are all separate things, the mind is not the sounds we make when we speak, or the Body it controls. Yet with out the mind we would be a vegetable. Without the voice our minds cannot communicate the spoken word, and without the body the mind cannot act. We have a mind, we have a voice and we have a body like God. Well a physical representation of who God is at least. (Genesis 1:27) We think, we talk and we act. That's what makes us a complete human being. No one can separate their words and actions from their mind. We are a creature created in the image of God. God is one being in his complete form, just as we are one being in our complete form. We are one with God, when we obey the Fathers will as revealed to mankind through the Living Word. Our ultimate aim in life is to think, speak and act like our Creator. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)

About Me

My photo
Michigan, United States
I spent a lot of time deciding if I should write this blog or not. I'm not a great writer and I'm not going to pretend to be. I need to share what I have learned and I might not make some people happy with what I am saying. This blog is a way for me to release the thoughts and feelings that come with knowing I grew up in the wrong religion. A healing process if you will.

How To Read This Blog

Please start with the month of February 2007 and read backwards. This is the most effective way to understand, in order, why I say what I do.

Handmaidens Creed

1.I believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit as one God without beginning or end.
2.I believe the Bible to be the Holy Inspired word of God with full truth and righteousness. No other writing is.
3.I believe that the work of the Lord comes first. Before any temporal thing or person.
4.I believe that grace is a gift and Christ gives that gift freely to all who believe.
5.I believe that the beauty of a woman is contained inside of her and not by what she looks like on the outside.
6.I believe that marriage is sacred and represents the Godhead on earth; two are one just as three are one.
7.I believe that love is more powerful than any other power. Remember, God is love.
8.I believe that tithing is not a part of God's new covenant, free will offerings are. And that doesn't mean just money.
9.I believe that the Aaronic, Levitical, and Melchizedek priesthoods are abolished and Christs Holy Priesthood whom Christ is the "Great High Priest" is eternal.
10.I believe that every believer is a priest in the "Priesthood of Believers".
11.I believe that when two are one, nobody is to separate the one.
12.I believe that Christ is the only way to heaven.
13.I believe that our bodies are temples, not man made buildings.
14.I believe that liars make fools out of others and the liar hates the fool.
15.I believe that all believers are in authority to preach the gospel.
16.I believe that the word 'organization' to describe Christs body is evil and has no place with God.
17.I believe the Americas are not the land of Zion and Christ will return to His origonal land-Israel in the Middle East.
18.I believe that God has set out correct ways of worshiping Him, not man.
19.I believe in holding to the truths of the Bible and not mans understanding of it.
20.I believe that the world is full of evil and Satan can easily gain control over the minds of those who do not profess Christ of the Bible to be their only Messiah.
21.I believe that Saints are those who know the real Savior, Jesus Christ, of whom the Bible speaks of; not the jesus of a cult.
